Our client is seeking a driven back-end web developer to join the team and work on exciting web projects!!

You have a focus on back-end programming languages and techniques such as PHP (Laravel), MySQL, and an interest in AWS serverless functions. Building dynamic digital platforms using frameworks and libraries is a challenge you enjoy, and you thrive on an API-first approach.

The role comes with a lot of freedom, responsibility within projects, and room for your own input. You always work collaboratively with the team, meticulously test everything within your projects, and ensure that every detail works flawlessly. You can independently complete projects. Your working style is structured, and this is evident in you and your work. Solution-oriented thinking is automatic for you. You are a natural perfectionist, able to distinguish between the essential and the incidental, and can easily get to the core of things. You have an independent work attitude, and you know how to find and use the right (online) tools, such as Chat GPT.

Jouw Profiel

• Min. 5 years experience with backend frameworks at a digital agency

• Experience with web development and technically complex projects

• Strong communication skills with clients and the team

• You feel comfortable setting up high-load and high-performance environments, and you know how to efficiently and securely set up backend environments

• You can independently complete a project successfully

• You have experience with Restful APIs and AWS serverless functions

• You work with GIT and know how to manage databases

• You are flexible when needed to get the job done

• You are curious, creative, assertive, and results-oriented

• You are innovative. You know everything about the latest innovative developments and which ones are relevant to your work.

• You strive to achieve. You know what you want and how to achieve it. You give it your all. If things get tough, you don't give up but push harder.

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

Preferably, you have worked with the following technologies:

• PHP, Laravel, Node.JS, AWS Serverless functions

• Craft CMS

• Github, Github actions for CI/CD

• MySQL, Elastic search
